Amanda Tufano (Flores), LMFT – Anxiety, Trauma & Self-Esteem Therapist
My name is Amanda Tufano (Flores), and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor-Intern dedicated to helping individuals overcome anxiety, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. I am passionate about supporting people who feel stuck in cycles of emotional pain and are ready to create meaningful change in their lives.
Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, and reaching out for help takes courage. As someone who understands that life is rarely black and white, I provide a compassionate, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and work toward healing. My therapeutic style is gentle yet direct—while I offer empathy and understanding, I also encourage clients to challenge themselves so they can achieve the personal growth they desire.
Therapy requires effort and commitment, and I work best with individuals who are ready to face their struggles, process difficult emotions, and take active steps toward change. While I cannot change your life for you, I can provide the guidance, tools, and support to help you build resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and move forward with confidence.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 2012 and my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from UNLV in 2015. Through my education, training, and clinical experience, I have been working directly with clients since 2014, helping individuals navigate mental health challenges, relationship issues, trauma recovery, and substance use concerns.
